Customer Service Professional
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers developing new and fostering existing relationships.
- Act as first point of contact placing, monitoring, and tracking customer orders.
- Schedule delivery appointments for direct & indirect orders and communicate with warehouse and customers accordingly.
- Quote and generate Purchase Orders.
- Manage vendor cost changes and updates, internally and with customers.
- Communicate with customers to understand needs and find the best possible solutions to customer concerns.
- Arrange freight, scheduling, delivery of inbound stock from vendors.
- Maintain proper record retention on all receiving, sales orders, deliveries, and routing.
- Replenishment planning: demand forecasting, lead time forecasting, order frequency analysis, service level analysis.
- Analyze inventory needs and place purchase orders accordingly for general and customer dedicated stock.
- Recommends changes in process and procedures based on customer feedback.
- Use product, market, and functional knowledge in combination with company processes, procedures, and applications to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong planning, organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Desire to learn and provide the best possible experience for our customers.
- Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
- Fundamental knowledge of PC Applications.
